Much of our time and effort is spent taking the Gospel around the nation, but Perth is our home base and we don’t want to neglect it. So each month, we arrange an outreach supper at the National Christian Outreach Centre.

We invite a guest speaker to tell us how they came to know Jesus as their Saviour, and what a difference He has made in their lives. Sometimes humorous, sometimes fascinating, sometimes heart-wrenching – the variety in people’s testimonies is incredible, but the basic message is constant regardless of their life experiences, family background, or lifestyle.

There came a point in each life where they recognised their need to repent and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. Following the testimony, an opportunity is given for people to respond to the Gospel.

We have been hosting such meetings for many years, and have seen 10s of thousands attend. Rarely does a month go by when we do not see someone receive Jesus as their Saviour and Lord.

A sumptuous supper is laid on by the PWAMM catering team after the formal part of the meeting. People are more likely to come to an outreach supper than an outreach meeting. Perhaps we are appealing to their base nature, but our motives are good!
