The History section of the website lists the variety of ministry arms through which, in the last 30 years, we have been able to take the Gospel of Jesus all across Scotland.
We believe He has called us to take His power and presence back to the communities of Scotland. Why not consider supporting the ministry of PWAMM as we seek the Lord’s direction in this new season.
Community Care covered a range of services which were freely provided to the surrounding community.
One aspect was the Seniors Citizens’ Lunches. The Senior Citizens’ Lunches were attended by approximately 300 people every month. Many were transported free of charge in our own vehicles.
Another aspect was our work with the Community Outreach Bus. This was located in Perth City Centre every Friday and Saturday night, from 10pm – 2am. This was a “safe” bus and our teams worked with the support of the local Council and Police Scotland.
Due to the covid pandemic, many of these community services had to stop. However, other doors opened to be of help to the community. We were designated by the Perth & Kinross District Council as a ‘community hub’ for Perth north, and we provided support for people who needed shopping, prescriptions or general help during the pandemic. Due to the fact that we have large catering kitchens, we were also able to provide hundreds of hot meals weekly to needy members of the community.
