In this 21st Century iPod-listening, YouTube-watching generation, the Church of Jesus Christ needs to find effective methods of communicating the Gospel without diluting the message. For PWAMM, this challenge falls to the Media and Graphics team.

Under the guidance and direction of Graeme Moodie, the team are responsible for designing everything from: Flyers publicising outreach events, the monthly Gospel billboards, producing the increasingly popular DVD-tracts such as “The Ultimate Statistic” (see the Video Gallery / Dvd Tracts section ).  From a team of 2 in 2004, there are now 5 full-time staff in the PWAMM Graphics & Media department.

Producing publicity material for outreach suppers, missions, conferences and meetings is another sub-section of the Graphics & Media department. With numerous one-off events as well as the regular deadlines, there is never a dull moment here.

From a team of 2 in 2004, there are now 6 full-time staff in the PWAMM Graphics & Media DepartmentSimilarly, DVD production combines massive, intensive projects with the more regular duties of editing and burning copies of the church services and conferences. Two projects completed are the Ultimate Statistic DVD and a 3-dimensional model walkthrough of the new National Christian Outreach Centre. There is no luxury of sitting still, with storyboarding and script-writing already started for the next project.

Regularly, we receive feedback about the professionalism and high quality of the work produced. This is of great importance to every one involved in the Media and Graphics team – not for the sake of personal pride, but so that honour is brought to the name of our Lord and King, Jesus Christ.
